Posted by Kelsey J. on Wed, Sep 2, 2020

Choosing the perfect community is as important as choosing the perfect home. But how do you know which neighbourhood will work best for you?

Regina has many great areas to choose from, but what about a popular new neighbourhood with amazing homes surrounded by parks, green spaces, pubs, shopping, and entertainment all within a 10-minute walk?

Enter Harbour Landing, an easy choice for home buyers looking for a place to live, work, play and show. Read on to learn about this awesome community and all it has to offer.

1. An Easy Commute

A 10-minute drive to downtown, Harbour Landing makes getting to work easy. This community sits less than a minute from the Ring Road and the entire neighbourhood is bordered by Lewvan drive. This means you could get nearly anywhere in the city in less than 15-minutes!

If you prefer to take public transit, Harbour Landing offers two, conveniently situated bus stops, making it easy to get where you’re going.

Harbour Landing is home to 120 acres of green space and 16 KM of pathways - perfect for walking your dog or going for your morning jog. In fact, the entire community was designed with parks in mind. No matter where you go within the area, a green space is just steps away!

The neighbourhood boasts a whopping 12 parks, designed for winter and summer fun. So regardless of the season, you can head outdoors and enjoy some fresh air. There is an outdoor hockey rink, a basketball court and even the perfect tobogganing slopes!

If you prefer to take exercise indoors, free yoga will be hosted throughout the summer in the Orange Tree Village, taught by Bodhi Tree instructors. In addition, tons of fitness classes to choose from.  Check out the Bodhi Tree website for more details.

3. Diverse Home Styles

From townhomes to large, spacious front attached homes with double car garages, Harbour Landing offers a wide range of models to suit any lifestyle. For example:

Laned - Single homes with the option to build a rear double garage like the Alexis or Chatham, these two homes at 1546 and 1640 square feet respectively, offer open floor plans.  The Alexis has 3 bedrooms and the Chatham offers 3 or 4 bedroom options.

Front Attached - If you’re in the market for something a bit larger, the Bradford or Stratford are two of the many great front attached models featured in the area. 1780 and 1918 square feet respectively, both include an airy open floor plan, front attached garage and three bedrooms.

4. A Night Out

Whether you’re looking to meet up with friends at a pub or just looking for a great meal, Harbour Landing has plenty of options!

There are a variety of tasty local restaurants and nearby pubs in which to enjoy food, drink and good company. The Canadian Brewhouse, Lancaster Taphouse, Coras, Five Guys, McDonalds, Opa, Taco Time and more, are all within walking distance.

If you'd rather head downtown, there are plenty of options to get there. If you’re planning on having a few drinks, a cab is much more economical to and from Harbour Landing than anywhere in the North, West or East end.
